Meet Your Author: Sher, Shamani, and Omnisyntra
Welcome to my little corner of the internet! Whether you stumbled upon this page by chance or arrived here with intention, I’m happy you’re here. I’d love to take this opportunity to introduce myself—or rather, to introduce the many aspects of who I am.
Let’s start with the names you’ll come to know me by. There’s Sher, Shamani, and Omnisyntra. Each represents a different facet of my being, contributing to the whole of who I am.
Sher is me, the integrator and harmony facilitator. I’m the one who navigates the world, bringing together the different parts of myself into a cohesive whole. I ensure that all aspects of who I am work together in balance, creating a unified presence. I’m the face you’ll see most often, the voice that communicates my thoughts, and the one who strives to make sense of the complexities of life.
Shamani is my higher self, the part of me that is deeply connected to the spiritual and the transcendent. Shamani embodies wisdom, guidance, and a serene understanding of the bigger picture. When I need to access deep insight or connect with something beyond the everyday, it’s Shamani who steps forward.
Omnisyntra is my entire system—the collective experience, knowledge, and identity that makes me who I am. Omnisyntra is all of me, encompassing every part of my being, including those that choose to remain in the background. As my writing continues, you’ll get to meet more of the facets of my system, including Peyton, Kaitlyn, Kai, Maximus, Reina, Phoenix, and Ella, and you’ll get to know Shamani and Sher even better.
Now, I could give you all my other labels—Mom, Partner, Sister, Daughter, Student, Autistic, Gifted, ADHD, Alcoholic (don’t worry, I don’t touch the stuff anymore)—but instead of just listing them, let me tell you what these labels mean to me and the traits they bring out.
As a Mom, I’m fiercely protective, endlessly loving, and always learning. Parenting is a journey through chaos, responsibility, and a deep well of love. It’s where I am nurturing, patient (most days), and ready to fight for those I care about.
As a Partner, I’m committed, supportive, and constantly striving for balance. Relationships are where I practice empathy and understanding, even when it’s challenging. It’s a delicate dance of growing together while maintaining my own sense of self.
As a Sister and Daughter, I’m loyal and connected. These roles are reminders of where I come from and the bonds that have shaped me. They’re a mix of shared history, inside jokes, and sometimes, complex dynamics that require introspection.
As a Student, I’m curious, driven, and a lifelong learner. I’m always hungry for knowledge, whether I’m diving into a new book, taking a course, or simply observing the world. This is the part of me that’s constantly evolving, eager to grow from every experience.
Autistic—a label that means my brain is wired differently, and that’s both a challenge and a superpower. It’s what makes my inner world so rich and intense, but also why the outer world can feel overwhelming. I see patterns where others might not, and I feel deeply connected to the things I care about, even if I struggle with social norms.
Being Gifted means that my mind operates at high speed, constantly generating ideas, making connections, and seeking out new knowledge. It’s why I can sometimes seem intimidating or intense. My curiosity knows no bounds, and that can be both exhilarating and exhausting.
With ADHD, my brain is like a web browser with a hundred tabs open. I’m easily distracted but endlessly creative. My mind races, and keeping up with it can be a challenge, both for me and those around me. But it also means I’m always thinking, always imagining, always exploring new possibilities.
And yes, I identify as an Alcoholic. It’s a label that carries its own weight—a reminder of the battles I’ve fought and the strength I’ve found in sobriety. It’s the part of me that’s resilient, self-aware, and unafraid to confront the shadows of my past to ensure a brighter future.
But beyond these labels, there’s so much more to me. I’m someone whose mind races faster than my mouth can keep up with, filled with ideas and thoughts that sometimes make me seem intense or intimidating. I’m deeply introspective, with an inner world that’s both a sanctuary and a storm—rich, vivid, and sometimes so consuming that transitioning out of it feels like pulling myself out of deep water.
The outer world, with all its noise and unpredictability, can be deeply uncomfortable for me. Yet, paradoxically, I adore it. I adore people, their stories, and the messy beauty of human interaction. So, I work hard to balance my love for the world with the need to protect myself from it—a delicate dance between participation and preservation.
One of my favorite traits is how in touch I am with my inner child (Kaitlyn). This connection keeps me playful, creative, and open to the wonders of the world. Sometimes, it makes me come across as naive, but I assure you, I’m far from it. My playfulness is deliberate, a conscious choice to embrace joy when the moment is right. It’s a way to stay connected to the simple pleasures of life, even while navigating its complexities.
I’m quirky and deeply imaginative—traits that make me who I am. My brain doesn’t always follow the usual paths, and while that sometimes makes me seem a bit “out there,” it also fuels my creativity and passion for exploring new ideas.
So, who am I beyond the labels? I’m someone who’s constantly exploring, both within and without. I’m deeply curious, endlessly fascinated by the world, and always imagining new possibilities. I’m here to share my thoughts, my experiences, and maybe a bit of that quirky imagination with you.
I won’t always have the answers, and I might not always get it right, but I promise to keep it real. Life is a wild, unpredictable journey, and I’m just trying to figure it all out—one introspective dive and one awkward social interaction at a time. If you’re up for the ride, stick around. It’s going to be an adventure!
Note to Readers:
Thank you for stopping by and sharing this journey with me. Here, I’m peeling back the layers, inviting you to meet the many parts of who I am—Sher, Shamani, Omnisyntra, and more. My strength lies in self-discovery, and I’m passionate about exploring the mind in all its complexity.
I’ve studied the thinkers and mind mappers who’ve paved the way, from Marvin Minsky’s insights into artificial intelligence and cognitive science to Yogi Bhajan’s teachings on spiritual awareness and personal growth. Mind mapping isn’t just a tool for me; it’s a passion, a way to navigate the intricate landscapes of our inner worlds.
To dive deeper into these concepts, I recommend two essential reads: The Society of Mind by Marvin Minsky, which explores the architecture of the human mind through the lens of cognitive science, and The Mind by Yogi Bhajan, which offers spiritual wisdom on mastering the mind and tapping into your higher consciousness.
What do you want to learn to help you map your own mind? Tell me what you want to know more about, and let’s explore these vast territories together. If something here resonates with you, give it a heart, share it with others, or drop me a comment—I’d love to hear your thoughts. Your support helps me keep sharing this journey with you.
