The One Who Tries to Talk You Out of Yourself

When I titled my last essay “Believe in You, Capitalists Hate That,” it was both a challenge and a declaration. I named how the system profits most when we don’t trust ourselves—and how believing in ourselves becomes a radical act.

That essay was my manifesto. This one is my follow-through.

Part One said: Believe in you.
This one says: If you live believing in you, you’ll be challenged—often by people who ask you to debate your own survival.

This is where I begin Part Two.

Every time I write about my Exit Path — the choice to step outside the frames capitalism hands me — there is always one.

The one who insists I’ve confused my terms.
The one who explains property rights like scripture.
The one who tries to drag me back into the familiar arena of debate.

And the irony is: that’s exactly what I’m naming.

Capitalism doesn’t just hoard wealth — it colonizes frames…
