Our Commitment to Open Source: Protecting Integrity and Accessibility

The Compassion Collective (TCC) has always been open source. From the start, we’ve believed in the power of collaboration, shared knowledge, and making tools and ideas accessible to everyone. To ensure that our work continues to align with these values, we’ve implemented two licensing models:

This license applies to our software and governance tools. It allows anyone to use, modify, and distribute the software, provided proper credit is given and the license terms are followed.

The Apache License is designed to protect the integrity of our tools while encouraging innovation and transparency.

2. Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA)

This license applies to our creative content, such as documentation and frameworks. It allows sharing and adaptation of our content, provided that:
