This afternoon, I sat in the circle of my AA home group, the air alive with unspoken understanding. The person chairing the meeting—let's call her Sara—opened with a share that was both thoughtful and practical, a grounding presence that gently invited the rest of us to dive into our depths. She posed a question that resonated deeply: what does the process of deconstruction look like in your life?

One by one, members offered their reflections. Each share was a thread—some raw, some poetic, all honest. We are all so different, each of us navigating our unique paths of transformation. And yet, as the hour unfolded, it became clear that it was in this very diversity that the beauty arose. Together, we wove something greater than the sum of our individual stories: a tapestry of resilience, growth, and shared humanity.
