Welcome to what I affectionately term "Beginning Point," although it's important to acknowledge that our journey together doesn't follow a straightforward path. The evolution of our collective embraces a natural flow, presenting unique challenges to those more familiar with traditional project frameworks. While conventional approaches may offer clear planning and risk assessment tools, they don't fully encompass our journey's direction. Integrating these established techniques with our distinct governance model allows us to navigate our path generatively.

The Genesis of Compassionate Engagement:

The roots of The Compassion Collective can be traced to the creation of the "Compassionate Recovery" Facebook group, born from my search for a more empathetic space within the online recovery community. This initiative sought to address the lack of compassion and prevalent biases I observed, laying the groundwork for what would evolve into our current collective endeavor.
